Poland’s state-controlled transmission system operator PSE by 2026/27 will be ready to connect 4GW of offshore wind to the power grid – and after network upgrades ultimately up to 8GW, PSE president Eryk Kłossowski said.
Kłossowski's remarks in an interview with the Rzeczpospolita newspaper were hailed by the sector as a breakthrough for wind at sea in the Eastern European country.
