Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) has yet to decide the exact size of its future 10MW-plus offshore wind turbine, as the OEM remains under intense pressure from shareholders to cut costs and boost profits with its stock price down sharply from a year ago.
The offshore wind business also keeps getting more complex, Andreas Nauen, chief executive of SGRE's offshore wind division, told the 15th DNV GL Hamburg offshore wind conference.
