Brazil’s Mines and Energy Ministry will hold this year’s A-6 tender on 31 August, when it plans to contract power capacity from wind, large hydro, biomass, coal and natural gas from projects with a 1 January 2024 start-up.
The government earlier announced the A-6 tender but had not set a date. It will be the second of two tenders to contract new power this year.
