Spanish steel tower makerWindar will start a pilot programme to export tower sections from its factory in Brazil to neighbouring Argentina, where demand is booming as result of the government’sRenovArrenewable energy programme.
“Argentina is a new market, and as Brazil has become a hub with OEMs having invested in local content it makes sense to try to export,” said ÁlvaroCarrascosa, CEO ofTorrebras, Windar’sBrazil subsidiary.
