Project delays, restructuring costs and increased price pressure from auctions pushed down results at Nordex Group last year, as the German-Spanish wind OEM confirmed preliminary figures.
Sales fell to €3.08bn ($3.84bn) in 2017 from €3.4bn in the previous year amid delays primarily to projects in South Africa, where state-owned utility Eskom delayed the signing of power purchase agreements.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortisation (Ebitda) and also before extraordinary costs fell to €242m last year from €285.5m
