Japan’s Mitsubishi Corporation has reached an agreement with Portuguese utility EDPR to eventually acquire an up to 33.4% stake in the 950MW Moray East offshore wind farm, located in the Outer Moray Firth around 22km off the Scottish northeast coast.
EDPR said it had closed the sale of a 20% stake in the project company Moray Offshore Windfarm East Ltd (MOWEL) and had additionally reached an agreement for a further 13.4%
