US Energy Secretary Rick Perry pledged to remain in his post amid reports that President Donald Trump was preparing to name him to head the Department of Veterans Affairs.
“Just FYI, I’ll be here. I’m not going anywhere,” he told Senator Maria Cantwell, a Washington State Democrat, during Tuesday testimony before the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee in Washington, DC.
