Indian wind group Suzlon secured a major boost in its home market with 500MW of orders to equip projects that won in national tenders.

Suzlon will deliver its S111 140m 2.1MW turbines to wind farms of 300MW and 200MW in the Kutch district of Gujarat.

The two projects – which the OEM doesn’t identify – were successful in tenders organised by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), which runs India’s national renewables auctions on behalf of the government.
