Danish OEM Vestas has expanded its partnership with asset inspection specialist InspecTools to provide developers with real-time access to blade inspection analysis and data from their turbines.
The combined service, which marries an online portal to view blade conditions fleet-wide with worldwide access to the WindAMS asset data management system – built on Vestas’ performance data inventory – is targeting improved predictive maintenance to work against issues such as leading-edge erosion.
