EDP Renewables North America has nailed down a 20-year PPA for its 200MW Prairie Queen wind project in Kansas with utility Great Plains Energy.
Prairie Queen, in eastern Kansas, is due on line in 2019, and will expand EDPR’s installed wind base in the central US state to 600MW.
