Germany-based turbine manufacturer Senvion has won a 101.2MW EPC contract from Indian developer ReNew Power for the Bhuwad wind project in Gujarat.
The OEM will supply 44 of its 2.3M120 turbines that are slated to be commissioned within the next 12 months. The project includes a 10-year service contract.
"ReNew's contract award demonstrates both Senvion's technological leadership as well as our rigorous geographic expansion,” Senvion chief executive Jürgen Geissinger said.
