Transmission developer Anbaric Development Partners (ADP) can begin selling future capacity on its proposed 2GW offshore wind grid in New England, known as the Massachusetts Ocean Grid, after securing approval from a federal US regulator.

ADP, which is backed by Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, announced this week that it’s gained approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for its Massachusetts Ocean Grid project, which seeks to yoke multiple offshore wind farms together and deliver the power to shore through a single export cable and onshore landing.
