Denmark’s Orsted has appointed UK construction firm Hobson & Porter as the principal contractor for a multi-million pound extension to its offshore wind operations centre at the Royal Docks in Grimsby, northeast England.
The Orsted East Coast Hub, as it will be known, will be the UK’s largest offshore wind operations and maintenance (O&M) facility serving some of Orsted’s east coast projects, including the world’s biggest offshore wind farms.
