Thai solar developer Superblock will spend up to 56bn baht ($1.78bn) building 700MW of wind capacity in Vietnam as it pursues regional ambitions, the company told media in Bangkok.

Superblock’s initial plans focus on “three near-shore farms with 142MW of capacity in Bac Lieu province, 98MW in Soc Trang province and 100MW in Ca Mau province”, said Reuters, quoting its chairman Jormsup Lochaya.
