German utility EnBW together with its partners Macquarie and Swancor Renewable will participate in upcoming auctions in Taiwan for 3GW in offshore grid link capacity under a feed-in tariff (FIT) based system, and 2.5GW in support under a tendering system for wind at sea.

EnBW earlier today had said that it has bought a 37.5% stake in the three Formosa 3 projects off Taiwan’s Changhua region that have a combined capacity of about 2GW.
