NextEra Energy has secured an enormous corporate off-take deal with AT&T, contracting to sell 520MW of wind power from projects in Oklahoma and Texas, in what amounts to one of the largest corporate renewables PPAs in the industry’s history.

Dallas-based AT&T, which claims to be the world’s largest telecommunications company, says 220MW of the electricity will come from NextEra’s Minco V wind farm in Oklahoma and the remaining 300MW from an unnamed project in Texas.
