Few settings feel more appropriate for a Scottish offshore wind event than Strathclyde University’s awe-inspiring Technology and Innovation Centre – an academic base helping to drive Scotland’s ambition to become the most entrepreneurial economy in the world.

The futuristic £89m ($123m) centre, housed in a striking nine-storey triangular building east of Glasgow’s George Square, was opened in 2015 to “revolutionise the way researchers in academia and industry collaborate and innovate together” .
