Offshore wind additions doubled across Europe last year to a record 3.15GW, led by a rebounding expansion in the UK and strong figures from Germany, while a first full wind park was built in near-Arctic conditions in Finland’s and the world’s first floating array hit the water off Scotland.
That brought the cumulated wind power capacity off European coasts to 15.78GW,
