Argentine oil and petrochemical company Pampa Energía has started construction of two wind projects with a combined capacity of 100MW that will supply power in the non-regulated market.

The Parque Eolico Pampa Energía and the Parque Eólico de La Bahia – of 50MW each – recently obtained priority from the government to connect to the grid, the company said.

The oil group said it will invest $140m in the two projects that will use 30 turbines.
