Orsted announced full power has been reached at its 573MW Race Bank offshore wind farm in the UK North Sea.
The Danish group said final testing of the wind farm and its 91 Siemens 6MW turbines – one of them installed in a company-record 11 hours – is complete, allowing the project to operate at full tilt.
The commissioning process took Race Bank past 1TWh of output since installation began in May 2017, Orsted added.
