UAE-based shipyard Lamprell has loaded out the first eight fully-assembled jacket foundations for Iberdrola-owned ScottishPower Renewables’ 714MW East Anglia 1 (EA1) offshore wind farm off eastern England.
The jackets are being transported by the Dockwise vessel Mighty Servant from Lamprell’s Jebel Ali yard in the UAE to the port of Vlissingen in the Netherlands, where they are due to arrive in early April.
