Siemens Gamesa posted a net loss in the first quarter of its 2018 fiscal year (October-December 2017) due to restructuring and integration costs, but orders from across the globe reached a record, driven both by the onshore and offshore wind business.
Sales at the German-Spanish OEM fell by 23% to €2.13bn ($2.63bn) as wind turbine revenue dipped both on lower prices and a reduced sales volume, while services revenues were almost stable.
