Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy has announced seven US onshore wind turbine orders totaling 318MW that were booked during 2017, making the projects eligible for 80% of the production tax credit (PTC).
None of the customers nor the specific projects were disclosed, but Siemens Gamesa says the turbines will be installed at both new wind projects and existing projects that are being repowered.
