German marine technology group Noske-Kaeser plans to diversify into the offshore wind sector after becoming part of French energy group Engie in a takeover at the end of last year.

Hamburg-based Noske-Kaeser is a developer of air-conditioning, refrigeration and fire-extinguishing systems for shipping and offshore platforms.

Noske-Kaeser is now part of Engie Axima, headquartered in Paris, which is responsible for the Engie group's global shipping and oil & gas activities.
