Warren Buffett has big plans for renewables and the electric utility sector more broadly, and he’s counting on Berkshire Hathaway Energy’s (BHE) newly-named chief executive William Fehrman to carry them forward.
“It’s hard to imagine a better-run operation,” Buffett told shareholders of parent Berkshire Hathaway at the annual meeting last year in reference to BHE, adding it has a “huge appetite” for both wind and solar projects.
