China’s provinces are raising their offshore wind ambitions dramatically and setting new targets that are likely to help the Chinese sector past its national goal of 5GW installed by 2020, latest industry data seen by Recharge shows.
In 2017 China saw 13 new offshore wind projects of 3.45GW kick-off construction along its coastline – more than double the total 1.6GW
