US utility NV Energy has called for 330MW-worth of additional renewable energy projects to be built in its home state of Nevada.
NV Energy made an official request for bids for “major addition to its renewable energy portfolio”, including, for the first time, new battery storage systems that are integrated with the proposed renewable energy resource.
The request for proposals seeks solar, geothermal, wind, biomass and biogas technology projects that are compliant with Nevada’s existing renewable portfolio standards.
