The Nordex Group in December won a combined 820MW in orders from two large international utilities to deliver turbines from its Acciona Windpower brand to three projects in the US, the OEM has announced.
Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to start in the summer of 2018.
One of the customers has ordered 196 of the OEM’s AW125/3150 machines for two US projects with a capacity of 319MW and 300MW respectively, the company said.
