Australian business power retailer Flow Power has signed a large-scale renewable corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) with agribusiness group Olam International for energy supplied from the 240MW Ararat wind farm, located in Victoria state.
The 10-year deal is one of the first of its kind in Australia and will allow Olam direct access to energy sourced from Ararat, while also helping "significantly" reduce energy costs, according to Flow Power.
