Firm order intake at Germany-based wind OEM Senvion rose by 36% to €1.78bn ($1.2bn) last year from €1.3bn in 2016, but the manufacturer missed its intake guidance of about €2bn as two key order conversions were delayed and shifted into early 2018.

“This risk of potential delays in converting orders is not unusual in a project driven business like Senvion and was already highlighted in our third quarter release,” the company said in an ad-hoc disclosure to investors.
