A group including Suzlon has commissioned its first LiDAR system in the waters off India, as the country advances its preparations for offshore wind deployment in the 2020s.
The met station, 16km off Kutch in the state of Gujarat, will spend two years collecting data in a region that is expected to be among the first to see turbine deployment off India.
