Pattern seals finance, taps Vestas for 300MW Ontario project

Pattern Development announced the completion of C$1bn ($790m) of finance for its 300MW Henvey Inlet wind project, which will be the largest wind farm ever built in Ontario – and among the largest in Canada – when it is finished in early 2019.

Vestas won an order for 87 of its 3.45MW turbines, with Pattern confirming to Recharge that it will be the first time it has ever worked with the Danish OEM.
