In the latest step of a strategic expansion, independent US rotor blade maker TPI Composites last month announced plans to set up a new technology centre in Kolding, Denmark, giving it access to Europe’s engineering talent pool and putting it in the same time- zone as its client OEMs Vestas, Nordex, Siemens Gamesa and Senvion.
