EDF Renewable Energy, EDF Energies Nouvelles’ North American unit, has begun commercial operations at its 154MW Rock Falls wind park in northern Oklahoma, with 120MW of its generation destined for the use of personal care group Kimberly-Clark in its first utility-scale PPA.

Kimberly-Clark signed the long-term power take-off agreement with EDF Renewable Energies in September, together with another PPA with Invenergy for 125MW from the Santa Rita array that is under construction in West Texas.
