Vestas on 1 January will merge its sales business units (SBU) for Northern Europe and Central Europe, as part of what the Danish wind turbine manufacturer says is its ambition to grow faster than an increasingly competitive market
The newly-merged SBU will be headquartered in Hamburg – already the base of the Central Europe unit – and be headed by Nils de Baar, who has been leading the SBU Central Europe since 2015.
