International developer Mainstream Renewable Power (MRP) has kicked off plans to bring in a majority equity partner to help move its 450MW Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind project off Scotland into construction and commercial operation.
The £1.4bn ($1.9bn) Neart na Gaoithe was one of two projects awarded a Contract for Difference (CfD) by the UK's Low Carbon Contracts Company in February 2015.
