The Nordex Group is widening the availability of its sound-reduction technology to turbines from its 2MW Generation Gamma of the Nordex brand, as well as existing Generation Delta machines as a retrofit option to offer solutions for noise-sensitive sites while increasing turbine output.
The OEM’s “Xtended Power Sound Concept” package that now also will cover the N100/2500 and N117/2400 machines consists of two independent but complementary products, the “sound mode optimisation” and serrations.
