Clean Line Energy Partners has asked the Missouri Supreme Court to rule on its stalled $2.3bn Grain Belt Express project, the latest twist in the long-haul wind transmission developer’s legal strategy to overcome opposition in the state.
In September, Houston-based Clean Line retained former Missouri Governor Jay Nixon to help prepare a legal appeal after the Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) rejected its application for a “certificate of necessity and convenience” to proceed.
