The US may draw significant offshore wind supply-chain investment sooner than many in the industry expect, says Thomas Brostrøm, Orsted’s president for North America.

“I think everybody recognises that as a supplier, getting in first is probably a good thing – that’s what people are looking at right now,” Brostrøm tells Recharge.

“With New York and Massachusetts and Maryland and a couple of other states coming in now, you can suddenly see the kind of volume that would attract a supply chain and make the business case for them," he says.
