Executives from more than 200 companies across the US wind supply chain delivered a letter to political leaders this week, asking them to “keep their promise” by not changing the scheduled phase-down of the production tax credit (PTC) or its rules for qualification.

The letter (PDF here) is signed by a who’s-who of the American wind sector, including leaders from project developers like Avangrid Renewables, NextEra Energy Resources and EDF Renewable Energy; manufacturers like Vestas-American Wind Technology and GE-owned LM Wind Power; EPC contractors like Blattner Energy; and offshore companies like Deepwater Wind and LEEDCo.
