Wind turbine manufacturer Senvion is on track with its plan to develop a 10MW-plus offshore wind turbine and prepared for Germany’s 1.6GW auction for pre-developed offshore wind projects that will take place in early 2018, the OEM’s chief executive Jürgen Geissinger said.
“We are on track with our programme. We are doing this new offshore turbine to stay in the offshore business,” Geissinger said in a conference call on nine-month earnings on Friday.
