France’s EDF EN started commercial operations of 350MW of wind and solar projects in Brazil, the first after a spree of mergers and acquisitions that resulted in a project pipeline of more than 1GW.
The the first 66MW stage of the Ventos da Bahia wind complex were authorized by power regulator Aneel in September. The project was built with 22 of Nordex Acciona Windpower’s 3MW AW3000 machines.
