Poland could install 3.6GW of offshore wind capacity by 2035 in a baseline scenario and 6.7GW in an upside situation, BVG Associates director Giles Hundleby said during a presentation at the offshore wind conference of the Polish Wind Energy Association (PWEA) in Warsaw.

According to the baseline scenario (based on current policy frameworks and assumptions about future policy taking into account recent cost reductions), the country could produce 63 terawatt hours of electricity from wind at sea per year.
