The first LM Wind Power 73.5 P turbine blade has successfully arrived at Castellón Port in eastern Spain, where it will make its way to the 396MW Merkur offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.

The 73.5-metre blades, the largest ever produced and transported through Spain, are to be flown by GE Haliade 150-6MW turbines at the offshore project, being developed by a consortium made up of Partners Group, InfraRed Capital Partners, DEME Concessions and Coriolis.
