A new survey published by UK’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has revealed that public support for renewable energy continues to grow.

The government’s Energy and Climate Change Public Attitudes Tracker showed that 82% of respondents have expressed support for renewable energy technologies, compared to 77% in the previous survey that took place in May.

Only 3% of the public is opposed to the deployment of renewable energy, with 1% strongly opposed, data revealed.
