The UK’s Carbon Trust has launched a tender for input into a key element of the floating wind power Joint Industry Project (JIP) it is running – the impact of future turbines as large as 15MW on floating deployment.
The Floating Wind JIP – launched in conjunction with industry heavyweights such as Orsted, Vattenfall, E.ON and Statoil – aims to help overcome the challenges to large-scale commercial deployment in the emerging sector.
