Orsted, formerly Dong Energy, has sold 50% of its 659MW Walney Extension offshore project in the Irish Sea to a consortium consisting of two leading Danish pension funds, PKA and PFA.
Under the £2bn ($2.65bn) deal, each investor will get a 25% ownership interest in the project.
