Former head of offshore wind at German-Spanish turbine combine Siemens Gamesa Michael Hannibal has joined Danish fund manager Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP).
Hannibal, recently replaced during a senior-level shake-up at the OEM, will take up a partner role leading CIP’s investment activities within the offshore wind business.
“Michael is one of the pioneers and leading figures within offshore wind and spearheaded Siemens’ and Siemens Gamesa’s development into the globally leading offshore wind turbine supplier and service provider,” said CIP managing partner Jakob Baruel Poulsen.
