The combined 4GW of offshore wind targets newly in place in Massachusetts and New York are likely just the starting point for state mandates in the northeastern US, says Vineyard Wind chief executive Erich Stephens.

“Barring something really bad going on, I have no doubt that there will be new legislation upping those targets — even before those first targets are met,” Stephens tells Recharge.
