Owens Corning, the global composite specialist, confirmed it will shut a factory in Brunswick, Maine focused largely on the wind market, and shift production to Texas.

Machinery from the Maine factory will be transferred to a facility in Wichita Falls, Texas, near the Oklahoma border, according to a local press report. Sixty jobs in Maine will be lost in the process.
